Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with lowercase letters, such in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 and received great reviews from music blogs as well as the press. She has recorded several high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert.
